Explore new places outside. Go for a walk in nature if possible. Hiking in nature provides you with physical exercise and mental relaxation. Hiking is something people of all abilities and ages can do. The main thing is to find a place that fits your ability and desires.
Learning outdoors is about creating an appreciation for the world around you and is for all ages to enjoy doing. Take kids out of the classroom and explore the world outside with them. Use the environment around you to create meaningful lessons about the natural world.
Take current hobbies outside and create new ones that get you closer to nature. Try kayaking, fishing, nature photography, bird watching, or rock collecting. The possibilities are endless.

I have been a classroom teacher and special education teacher for over twenty years, as well as a naturalist, downhill ski instructor, and cave guide.
